The Story

The Laker’s Nick Young has always been a player that’s been a little cocky. He loves to celebrate and talk smack to the opponents. But in this game vs. the Knicks he’s been a little extra cocky and has been celebrating after every shot. Then he took a long three pointer that everyone thought was going to go in. So Nick celebrates before the shot even goes in and he ends up missing it. When this happened he blew up the internet and tv. For that whole week you couldn’t watch ESPN or any sports show without seeing this bad highlight. This has to be one of the worst highlights I’ve seen and you can always get a good laugh from this play.

The Process, Narrated

For this assignment I knew right away I was going to use Nick Young for this assignment. He’s made a few mistakes like this in his young career. To make this GIF I first found a website called Make A GIF and it allowed me to easily make a GIF. Then, I uploaded my video from Youtube to the GIF. It allowed me to change how long the GIF was with a max of five seconds. It also allowed me to change where the start and end time was. For my GIF I picked to start at ten seconds and end at thirteen seconds. The site I used lets you pick form picture to GIF, Youtube to GIF, video to GIF, webcam to GIF, or upload a GIF you already made.

Michael Jordan Game Winner GIF

Sport Hero GIF Assignment: “Make a GIF of your favorite sports hero!”

My GIF

Michael_Jordan_THE_SHOT_on_Ehlo

The Story

Michael Jordan has and still is my favorite sports player. Growing up as a kid I would tie my shoes everyday and whisper to myself “Make me like Mike”. When shooting the basketball in my front yard I would count down from five and shoot a fade away shot as if it was a game winning shot. Michael Jordan was always known for always hitting game winning shots at the last second. I would watch highlights of him and try to always reenact them. I would have to lower my basketball hoop to do the dunks. This GIF captures my sport’s hero in a nutshell.

The Process, Narrated

Right from the beginning I knew I was going to use Michael Jordan as my sport hero. I wanted to pick a video of him hitting a game winner and I found this one to be the best. To make this GIF I first found a website called Make A GIF and it allowed me to easily make a GIF. First I uploaded my video from Youtube to the GIF. It allowed me to change how long the GIF was with a max of five seconds. It also allowed me to change where the start and end time was. For my GIF I picked to start at twenty-six seconds and end at thirty-one seconds.

Greatest Catch Ever GIF

Highlight Reel GIF Assignment: “Create an animated GIF of a sports moment to be played over and over again. It doesn’t matter what sport, but make sure its a cool moment in that sport, which would belong on a highlight reel.?”

My GIF:

Greatest_Catch_Ever

The Story

This catch is arguably the greatest catch ever. It took place on a Monday Night Football game between the Giants and Cowboys. Odell Beckham Jr who made this one handed catch falling backwards also ended up scoring a touchdown on this play. Not only was this catch difficult to begin with Odell Beckham Jr also got interfered with by the defender right before he made this catch. Finally not only did he make the catch with one hand if you zoom in he caught the ball with only three fingers! I believe this is the greatest catch ever.

The Process, Narrated

Right from the beginning I knew I was going to use this specific catch in my GIF. To make this GIF I first found a website called Make A GIF and it allowed me to easily make a GIF. First I uploaded my video from Youtube to the GIF. It allowed me to change how long the GIF was with a max of five seconds. It also allowed me to change where the start and end time was. For my GIF I picked to start at two seconds and end at seven seconds.
